Relocation of the import and measurement station

As part of the port and urban development programme, the canton of Basel-Stadt is pursuing the relocation of the existing port railway station. In this context, the Kleinhüningen customs and metering station (ZM) of Gasverbund Mittelland AG (GVM) is to be relocated and rebuilt elsewhere.

The Swiss Federal Office of Energy (SFOE) is responsible for ensuring compliance with the conditions of the project's planning approval. In consultation with the Canton of Basel-Stadt and the applicant, the SFOE has commissioned Hintermann & Weber AG to monitor all environmental requirements.
