Studied environmental engineering (specialising in nature management) at the Zurich University of Applied Sciences. Bachelor thesis on the  Heideweg fen and its development influenced by lake level fluctuations of Lake Biel (vegetation mapping, monitoring concept).

Professional emphases

Botany and vegetation surveys; field work in various monitoring programmes, effectiveness monitoring, nature conservation projects and communal nature inventories; support of field teams.
