Studied botany and zoology at the University of Basel, graduating at the Institute of Environmental Studies of the University of Zürich. Diploma thesis on the impact of different types of land use on the population structure of a characteristic fenland plant species.

Surveying and assessing biodiversity, effectiveness monitoring, trend/status monitoring, nature conservation planning and concepts, amphibian biology and recovery measures, botany, vegetational science.

Special teaching position in charge of the «Habitats» course module for future nature and environment specialists studying at sanu future learning in Biel.
