Studied zoology and synecology at the University of Bern, graduating at the synecological department of the Zoological Institute. Diploma thesis on plant communities as a possible indicator for butterfly and moth communities in limestone grassland.

Professional emphases

Butterfly conservation and monitoring, aquatic macroinvertebrates, biodiversity monitoring, effectiveness monitoring, fieldwork and supervising fieldwork.
